I can only imagine this show is like the Hell’s Angels version of the Sopranos,,,

What’s missing is humor and emotional depth. It’s like a one-note song despite all the A, B, and C story lines. I watched an old Perlman flick last night – “A Town has Turned to Dust”. At the beginning Perlman’s character reminded me a LOT of Clay Morrow (typical in-charge bad guy), but Perlman pulled so much more out of it I was actually feeling a little sorry for the jerk. I was like WOW! How’d he do that! I’ve yet to care much about Clay Morrow or his family. And the only person who makes me chuckle is Half-Sack. I’m hoping it will get better cuz I love being able to watch both Perlman and Segal. But the need to ratchet the humanness up a notch vs. the video game violence.

Sounds like a total winner show, great cast!!
Don’t get FX, but I’ll check this out on dvd,,,

Anything with Perlman these days is gold.

Hamlet on Hogs… it’s quite the interesting twist. Hamlet??? Huh. Now that’s a reimagining in overtime!

I’m looking forward to where the show goes. Though Sutter has said that he’s basing the show on Hamlet, it’ll be interesting to see how far he takes the Hamlet element.
