Now obviously the story has been shaped and extended for smallvile however it all fits quite nicely. At the end of season 8 after all relevant characters have been killed off or memory erased somehow(we all know that Lana, lex, Louis and Martha survive and only his mother knows his secret)lex then goes to the fortress for his last super download of information (maybe this is where he learns to fly) 12 years later he appears as a goofy reporter with his glasses, after this amount of time no one would know what he looks like without glasses as im sure everyone changes after 12yrs, thus the disguise is complete and bosh! is it a bird.......? The only downside to that is that to use this idea in smallville, after 12 yrs they will need to use completely different actors....unless they go back to the beginning with the superman movie like they did with the batman story still using Brandon as the hero and making this follow on from the one and only smallville, which is why I think they should have waited with the superman movie and made it to follow on after smallville finished, maybe a year later to keep us hanging on.......which brings me on to my next moan, why why why did they use the story they did, I mean where are they going to be able to take this now......? superboy the movie? what a load of poo, I thought the plat was semi-well done but not good enough for a superman film.
