i do understand michael’s conditions…. but i would also like to comment that even though he is bald in smallville… he really do look handsome and manly as lex luthor…. and his acting skills is really good in smallville….
he really did a good job as Lex luthor… and I do hope that he would return in the show….

I have no doubt that he will return for the last few episodes of smallville… and when he does ratings are def gonna be through the roof! (Last episode of smallville + Lex is back! = freakin awesome)

in the movies he wore wigs. he could keep his hair and say that’s what’s going on. and if they’re gonna do a bald cap, they better make it look convincing

Whoa!!! Lex actually has hair, that is pretty amazing!!!! i don’t blame him for wanting to keep his hair. he looks better with it. they could pretend he is wearing a wig or something for the show. in the superman movies lex luthor had hair. so they could do that. but a bald cap is stupid. everyone would totally notice. i think they should bring him back. he is a very important character, even if he’s evil.

Lex doesn’t need to be bald – look at the Lois & Clark series, it worked with hair!

I’d be up for the wig idea, up for the healing idea. Heck I’d be up for the bald cap idea – just bring the dude back!!!

In the early early days of the comic, Lex had hair believe it or not. He lost it from handling so much Kryptonite!

Having Rosenbaum dye his hair red and returning to the show with some memory loss would actually be a great way to go.
It would allow the fans to get their super villain back and Rosenbaum would’nt have to shave his head anymore. It’d just be red is all.
And as far as continuity goes it could work well enough since Lex Luther did have red hair in the comics. Especially in the comic books when Superman fought Doomsday and died.
I for one would be happy to see Rosenbaum back with red hair. So make it happen WB! ;D

I think they should just scrap season 9 and do a spin-off. The ratings are plummeting, Almost all of the original cast members are gone. Smallville’s very lucky that they are going beyond thirteen. So just get rosenbaum back for the last two episdodes and be done.

Michael has been acting with hair/hairpieces outside of Smallville and true fans recognize him and find that fine. I think it would be a great thing for him not to be easily recognizable as Lex after all it is not easy to just find roles with him as a bald young man.

comon.. hair grows back in like 3 months.. what the big deal :/ He was by far the best actor in smallville, and the perfect lex luthor. ive been watching all the old seasons again over the last few months cause its just not the same without rosenbaum Him and glover where my favorite characters by far. Smallville is possibly my favorite show of all time, but if they cant get rosenbaum for at least 1/4th of the episodes i dont see the point of a 9th season…

truthfully michael rosenbaum is sexy with hair or without and as lex luther he is amazing. I got hooked on the show when my daughter krystal and nephew carlos would clear their schedules just to get together to watch this show called smallville.It is a great show but i really enjoyed lex luther.

If anyone remembers wayyy back, Lex, in the comic books had red hair. He lost his hair as a side affect from all the Kryptonite he handled in his life trying to thwart Supes!
