What you can expect

  • Lois & Clark’s wedding will be in part 1 of the Smallville series finale, but don’t expect it to be quick. Smallville executive producer Kelly Souders says, It’s a very, very long walk down that aisle. There are some good moments, some heart-wrenching moments and some surprising moments at their wedding.”
  • Oliver Queen and Chloe Sullivan will serve as Best Man and Matron of Honor, respectively.
  • Chloe will be in both parts of the two-hour Smallville series finale. Allison Mack says that Chloe’s story “ends in a very healthy and levelheaded way.”
  • Both Martha Kent and Jonathan Kent will be in attendance at Lois & Clark’s wedding.
  • Regarding whether or not Lois and Clark will actually get married, Souders says, “I think fans will be pleased with how things turn out, but it’s never what you expect.” Tom Welling explains, “I think that what you’ll see is that Clark is destined to be alone. It’s the hero’s burden. You’ll see in the finale that of course, there is a future between Clark and Lois in the world of Superman. It’s how they get there that I think will be very entertaining.” smallville series finale superman Smallville Series Finale Spoilers Revealed
  • Chloe’s married life with Oliver will be touched upon.
  • For the first time, Lex Luthor and Tess Mercer will come face-to-face and share scenes together. Cassidy Freeman says that “their scene is epic. But I think even if we were just having tea and crumpets it would be epic, because we have never met before.”
  • Lionel Luther and Lex Luthor will both be in the Smallville series finale, but will not share any scenes together.
  • Lex Luthor will return with a gloved hand (something that was foreshadowed in the Smallville season 1 episode “Hourglass.”)
  • Regarding the final scene of the Smallville series finale, Tom Welling says, “The final image of what you’ll see at the end of ‘Smallville’… makes me so proud and makes the hair on my arms stand up. It’s something that people have wanted to see for a long time and it’ll fulfill what they’ve been waiting for.”

  1. It’s a disgrace if he wears the Superman uniform or flies. This show has always been about Clark Kent, and NOT Superman. I’d rather see him stick with the red leater jacket than that dumb Superman uniform.Superman is stupid.
    Why can’t he become Batman?

Having Luther back will be nice- I assume he’s the cloned Luther all grown up

    • Um, why would you watch the show?

  2. The wife and I grew up in the 1960′s reading the Superman comics. This series has been a real treat to watch for the past 10 years. A nice job fleshing out the characters and giving the most comprehensive back story I have ever seen. Smallville will be studied by film students for years to come.

  3. I had tears in my eyes watching the finale. The last ten minutes made the entire show. If Tom Welling and the cast ever do a SUperman movie I would watch it and buy the DVD.

I would have liked to see Lex and Clark work together to defeat Darkseid. Superman tossing the planet out of the solar system seemed a bit simple. But it was still a great finale.

Loved John Glover. Glad to see John Schneider back and Annette o’toole. It was great. I like of love Superman though.

    • I believed that the last 10 minutes made the show but why did it jump 7 years in the future.

  4. I have watched 10 years of smallville in only 8 month yes 8 months thank you to Netflix and it has been wonder full not to have the long breakes. I my self loved the show and wish it was not over. I miss Lana wish she would have did a last visit in a lead dress( ha ha. Now chloe she special and will miss her smile you know what im saying (wow) ok. Im glad they did not kill her off. Oliver added to the show i feel and wish he did more to help out but i know it wasnt about the green guy with a bow and arrow.

I also wish that flash and the other would have been in the last show for a big show down with darkside.

I want to say bye to them all Clark, Lois, Jonathon, Lex, Martha, Lana, Oliver, Chloe, Tes. And the rest of the cast.

This has been the best 10 year running show ever out of all of them.

  5. The finale was awesome. They told a great story. To my surprise it was a seemless ending. Everything fell in place. It was amazing to see Clark fly across the screen. I was really surprise that he ended up in the red ,white, and blue suit. The “S” on his chest made me wonder if it stood for “Superman” or “Smallville”. I think that Clark Kent is a more interesting character then superman. The thing with superman is his image but Clark is who superman really is. I also enjoyed Lexs speech to Clark about who they are “Enemies”. The graphics were top notch. It’s crazy that 10 years of watching this show and watching these people mature into adults just sort of flew by. I’m happy with the ending and if there are no sequel movies or tv shows. I think it ended well. This is my last smallville posting. To all the great fans and followers of the show, Thank You. Tom

  6. I too thought the finale was AWESOME… I’ve been following this show for the last 10 years; and the finale just made it that much better. Please tell me there will be a movie with this cast it in in the near future.

  7. I’m a huge superman fan,but i stopped watching this show in the middle of season 5 or somewhere around when the black kid left.It just got to boring & i can’t stand tom welling he can’t act & he seems arrogant off camera, did he ever thank the fans for him being around that long because i never heard it…And the fact some people want to see him in a superman movie is a complete joke.Farewell smallville

  8. I’m hoping it will go on netflix stream. and why hasn’t it yet? they have every other show on there from the cw. anyone know the answer to my question?

  9. Smallville is the best series i ever loved, infact i never tired repeating to watch it.i do congratulate all the characters for their good work of ten year that they spent on make smallville and i wish them all the best to their other works.
