Are serious? Lana was easily the worst thing about the show all the way through! She should have gone ages ago – series 4 or 5.

Lois is perfectly cast, she’s tomboy, feisty and everything lois should be.

I love smallville! However it has gotten a little crazy. Lex can’t be gone. Jimmy also can’t die and Chloe as much as I like her character isn’t in supermans life. It’ll be sad how they take her out.
Lex should come back with his hair as a “wig” but he NEEDS to come back. And I’m so into the relationship finally building between Clark and Lois. =) Keep Smallville going!!

I still will be in Iraq when the 9th seaons kicks off . So I would not be able to see the new shows right away. I hope Clark will at least learn to fly right away because that is what we all have been waiting for. It is toooooo long without him being able to fly…So why did Lois go to the future at the end of season 8?

Lots of postings. I can’t read all but does any1 know when 9th season begins? I thought 8th was still on but looks like just reruns….
BTW, I’m a super fan of Smallville. Watched so long I ignore the original stories. But I admit some of the series gone too far, more other stuff less superman.

Really cant wait for season 9 its about time clark learned 2 fly now tho its been dragging on for 2 long now even the legion people can fly it makes clark look stupid and less powerfull i really thin kthe final ever episode will be with him flying and i nthe suit but thats more hope than anything weather it will hapen i nseason 9 who nos but if season 9 is the last it has 2 finish like that or on similarl ines unless there going 2 make a spin of series othrwise al lthe seasons of smallville wil lbe pointless he goes o nthe journey but we dont see the end ? soundsp retty pointless 2 me lol

I hope Clark finally FLIES in season 9 and ENDS UP with Lois, “Bride” episode being the “final” start point. Lana’s return as super girl, later kryptonized, was pathetic and absolutely out of the whole story! Lana was not tradionally Clark’s greatest love; why make her return to revive the love just ended? It would greatly endanger the coming true romance between CK and LL!

I think season 8 should be the final for Smallville but in turn start a new series called something along the lines as Superman’s Begainnings (not before he was superman (smallville) but after he learned how to fly and he takes flight and the real hero comes out.

Huck, I agree with you. Lana being back was a MAJOR, MAJOR let down.

But, I actually really hate the way they left it with them- and as much as it sickens me to bring Lana back – I think one episode in series 9 with her would be good JUST so we can see Clark TOTALLY over her and not just because he CAN’T have but but that he doesn’t WANT her.

I just don’t like the idea of Lois being Superman’s true love just because it didn’t work out with Lana due to a kryptonite suit.

ive watched smallville for ever ive got all the seasons all the books even post cards, smallville season 9 and 10 would b awsome. b even better if they decided to carry on 4 quite a few more years yet. that would b so cool. but i must say that season 8 is the best so far
