It’s time get your priorities in order and make sure you’re free this Friday because it is finally time for Smallville to return. For real this time, I promise and this Friday we not only see all our favorite characters that we’ve been missing the past months, but there are also some returning favorites as Speedy is returning.

Although, it doesn’t look like Speedy will be getting that much screen time as she’s slated to be kidnapped by Oliver’s mentor, Archer or as he is known in his Smallville iteration, The Dark Archer.

Oh, and did I mention we have a brand new promo for the Geoff Johns scripted "Absolute Justice" event?

First, check out the description from Friday’s brand new episode below:

“Disciple”

NO LOVERS, NO ALLIES, NO DISCIPLES; INTRODUCING DC COMIC CHARACTER THE DARK ARCHER  Oliver’s (Justin Hartley) past comes back to haunt him in the form of The Dark Archer (guest star Steve Bacic), Oliver’s former teacher, who seeks revenge on his student by taking aim at Lois (Erica Durance) and Chloe (Allison Mack).  Oliver faces down The Dark Archer after his former mentor kidnaps Mia AKA Speedy (guest star Elise Gatien) but is pushed to his limit and Clark (Tom Welling) races to stop him from making another deadly mistake.

That just sounds awesome. I’m so excited about Smallville’s return. Still, the delay in the return did not come without problems. There has been a little switch-a-roo in the episode schedule. With “Absolute Justice” premiering next week and the delay in the return means that they had to push back the Alison Mack directed episode, “Warrior,” 'til February 12.

I think everyone will agree with me that pushing back one episode is perfectly fine so that we can watch “Absolute Justice” as it was regularly scheduled.

Speaking of "Absolute Justice", here's the latest trailer!

Next, check out a trailer of this week’s episode "Disciple"  as well as glimpses of what’s to come.

All I have to do is keeping saying to myself that it’s only two days away. It’s only two days away. Maybe if I try really hard I could sleep until then.

Step aside, Negative Nancy’s (you know who you are), this is for real Smallville fans. Are you ready for its return? Will you be tuning it? Did the new "Absolute Justice" trailer give you goosebumps?

Make sure to tune into Smallville this Friday @8PM on The CW and then return her for a Review & Discussion of the winter premiere.
