New ‘Skyfall’ Images; Cast Video Interviews

2 years ago by

James Bond is finally back this fall inSkyfall, the twenty-third Bond film which is being directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty). Recently a handful of websites (not ours) were invited to the Skyfall set to see star Daniel Craig at work, and now materials from those visits are starting to make their way online.

Today we have a gallery of new Skyfall images to share, along with a new video of Craig, his onscreen foe Javier Bardem and new Bond girl Bérénice Marlohe all (vaguely) discussing the story, production, and high stakes of this new Bond flick.

Check the set visit video, courtesy of 007.com:

So there you have it: Bond is great, Bond is iconic, the people involved with the film are one big welcoming family, and we still know little to nothing about Skyfall‘s plot twists, other than the fact that it involves secrets from M’s (Judi Dench) past and will expand its scope beyond Bond himself to look at those close to him (if you couldn’t tell from the whole ‘M’s past’ plot point).

All in all, not much to see.

Thankfully, these Skyfall images (via Coming Soon) are a bit better, offering us looks at Daniel Craig as Bond, posing for the camera either in iconic or action-packed fashion:

Skyfall will be in theaters on November 9, 2012.

  1. Generally excited to see this movie. Daniel Craig is an excellent Bond and the whole cast seems very well put together. I’m really interested to see Javier Bardem’s villian go up against Bond. Also love that Bond is using the old school Walther PPK.

  2. Yeahhhhhh !!! Christmas is coming early this year on November the 9th, wrapped up in the big, shiny box that is SKYFALL.
I usually wait till I see a trailer or read a review of a film to get this psyched. But my gut is telling me that this Bond is gonna be GOOD!!! I can feel it. Haven’t been this excited since TDK in 2008.
Check out that pic of that vintage Aston Martin DB5 and Craig. It’s modern and yet classic at the same time.
We haven’t had a formidable Bond villain since Goldeneye. If Javier Bardem doesn’t change that then I’d expect the sun not to rise. One can sense everyone involved is having a blast making this movie.
More sex and violence! That’s the way it should be in a 007 movie.
Naomie Harris and Tonia Sotiropoulou and Berenice Marlohe?? Hell yes! Strong and sexy women with guns. What a lovely combination.
Skyfall , for me, is the most anticipated film of 2012. Followed by Prometheus ( hoping R Scott fights hard to give it an “R” rating ) and then TDKR, respectively. Everything else is fluffy, kiddie fare.

    • I agree. In a season of great films about to come out (lucky us) I think this one is going to sneak up and top them all. There’s at least seven more images up on other sites. This movie looks amazeballs.

  3. Lookd visually fantastic :D no more badly done shaky cam
(only the greengrass bourne films do it right)

  4. Just hope it is shot and edited better then Quantum. That had some of the worst editing in my opinion.

  5. The film starts with Bond chasing an assassin called Patrice(Ola Rapace) through the streets. There’s something else to know! :)

  6. I’ve been saying this a lot on these boards lately but I have to say it again. This is a film I’ve completely forgotten about.
I’m going to have to take the time and make a month by month list of everything that’s coming out from May-December that I want to see.
I’ve loved most of the Bond films over the years so the fact that a new one is coming and I keep forgetting about it is crazy.
2012 = best year for film ever :)
