Christine Brown of Sister Wives has revealed that she was "terrified" after finally leaving Kody Brown and walking away from their 25-year marriage. The couple split after a rocky couple of years, and the news did not surprise viewers. Kody has been playing with fire as he often chooses to ignore many of his wives.
The mother of six recently shared that her union with Kody began to change when she realized she could actually say "no" to her husband and make her own decisions. The main point of contention between the couple seemed to be due to a lack of intimacy and jealousy. Christine had always believed she would be the last wife of Kody, but when he started dating Robyn, everything changed. Both forgot how to communicate with one another, and as Kody pulled away, Christine bottled up the hurt. Now, she is finally airing out her list of grievances and revealing how she felt after leaving Kody behind in Arizona.
Christine's son, Paedon Brown, spoke out on the Reality Life With Kate Casey podcast and revealed some very interesting insider information. It was revealed that when Christine shared her message about her impending divorce, she was "horrified" about the repercussions. Kody and Christine's 23-year-old son told listeners that his mother didn't even look at her social media but was finally happy when she did since she saw how many of her fans supported her decision. Christine then realized that she didn't need to worry about anyone's response, especially her soon-to-be ex-husband's.
Paedon made it clear that he wouldn't be choosing sides when it came to his mother or father, but fans would argue that his interviews have told a different story. Christine has been thriving since she left Kody. She has finally been able to move back to Utah to be with her family. As for Paedon, he has no interest in following his parents in the polygamist lifestyle. While he is grateful for his upbringing, it is not the life he wants.
Now, Christine is looking towards the future and recently revealed that she was given her own spin-off. Cooking With Just Christine is set in the Sister Wives star's kitchen. On it, she will share some of her family's favorite recipes and get a helping hand from some of her kids. It doesn't seem like Christine has much to fret about now that she has left Kody. With or without the patriarch by her side, she is going to do great things.
