Thanks Greenknight333, I'll seek that out. What's the name of the book, is it just called The Watchmen?
Don't be INK, I saw it on an AVID, and that's cool and all but I'm still going to see it on the big screen after the hype settles down in about 4 weeks. Lol.
(There's a whole halarious story about when I saw TDK, but I can't talk about it online.)

    (Revised list). ;-)
1_ TDK. (If I drool, it would spoil it for everyone.)
    2_Speed Racer (gheesh picky_picky)
    3_Iron Man
    4_Hulk
    5_Cloverfield.

You drink Milk JC yikes !!! =-0
  • "So you’re going to milk this story with a headline at least one more time?"

No, I just won't create a new post once it is "official" as this one will suffice.

790, how could Speed Racer be #4? You drooled (?) all over your keyboard about Speedy!

And how can TDK be at the top? I know you're seeing it just for Morgan Freeman.

    ~~ GOT MILK? ~~

    {{It hasn’t been officially announced yet}}

So you're going to milk this story with a headline at least one more time?

    (I love milk!)

    790 -

Looks like it is actually in your top three ;)
BTW have you already seen TDK? If so, count me as jealous.

Read the graphic novel 790..it's worth the purchase and it will blow you away!!
  • 790
Hey Greenknight333, I don't know the background of the Watchmen, but it looks very cool. I know its based on a popular graphic novel.
Kinda has a Hellboy look and a X-Men adgenda.
I'm looking forward to it and I'll prob see it first weekend! ;-)
  • greenknight333
790...What's your take on the Watchmen?
  • 790
Haha yeah Vic I never had any doubts on this one. Downey Jr would shake the foundations of Marvel if he wasn't directing.
This was really just post Iron Man spin. A no brainer theory to use on a slow news day.

And (IMO) Hulk was easly one of the top 4 films I've seen this year.

    1 TDK
    2 Iron Man
    3 Hulk
    4 Speed Racer
    5 Cloverfield.

    ;-p

It's essential to get the man. Glad to see that Marvel is going with a winning formula - if indeed Downey is back, Favreau can further refine the sequel. I'm looking forward to Robert plumbing Stark's inner demons - vanity and booze are a bad combination.

Disappointed to read (I believe it was THR) that the Incredible Hulk may NOT spawn a sequel. While not Iron Man, it stands alone as a solid reboot and I loved Norton's tormented Banner. Nice set up at the end with Stark. Keeping my fingers crossed in the frozen north - I am, Snowdog.
  • Andy
This is fantastic news. I just hope that Favs directs The Avengers also.
  • Liz
lol - when I first saw the headline on AICN, I was like, "hey, Vic was right all along!" I'm glad, and I'm looking forward to 2.

    testing: Message not showing up

My first post didn't go through :( I posted this earlier today on the open forum. Great news for Marvel and movie fans!

    Kofi –

Anytime my wife actually PICKS a comic book movie to see, I go with it!
  • Kofi Outlaw
Hulk... I don't even remember what that movie was about. With Iron Man, TDK, and (to a lesser extent) Hellboy II giving me my comic movie fix this summer, why would I bother?
  • INK
great news! Also saw Hulk again tuesday night along with my wife. She loved it as much as I did and said she could watch it again the next day. So I guess I'll be allowed to buy that one when it comes out on DVD. :)
  • Nikki Finke does get a lot of great scoops, no doubt, but her attitude sucks on this one.
