    @790...

    I'm not going to see Sherlock Holmes on Christmas or Hew Year's weekend, 'cause I'll be away, but ... I think I know who I'll be spending my birthday with, though... ;)
  • I thought this was a terrible idea when i first heard, but eveything i have heard and seen fills me with confidence, and the possibility of Brad Pitt playing Moriarty is genius. This could end up being a classic! Plus anything with Rachel McAdams in is worth watching, shes so pretty...

    I haven't seen this trailer but based on the comments its awesome!!! ;-)

    Seriously I'm going first day on this film. That is if I can sneek out of work...

    After doubting whether RDJ and Guy Ritchie could possibly make the iconic detective more interesting, the new Sherlock Holmes trailer has me intrigued enough to want to go see it.

    Yep ... I'm so there! :)

    @annonymous...

    I didn't think Robert's British accent sounded forced at all. He did pretty well in Chaplin and Restoration (am I the only one who saw that movie?), so I have no problem with his accent.

    Huge Downey Jr & Guy R fan and I have to say that when they announced the team-up I was not sure about it, but the trailers have sold me so far. I am very excited and cannot wait to spend christmas eve at a midnight showing!

    I love the new trailer. Looks fantastic. Robert Downey Jr. always does an impressive job. He is a multi-talented and gifted actor. I don't feel that his accent is forced at all. He actually sounds exactly the same as Jude Law in their scenes together and Jude is British. There truly seems to be no difference. In Chaplin, Robert mastered several different types of the British language to portray Chaplin. I think that Jude and Robert play great off of each other. The two must get along well together, because the friendship tends to carry over onto the screen. I think Ritchie picked the right cast for the movie. They all seem to play great off of each other. I look forward to seeing it. This looks to be a fantastic film.

    I don't understand the purpose or necessity of a shirtless fight scene in a Sherlock Holmes movie. Sure Holmes is skilled in fighting but shirtless fight scene? Come on. Lame cliche

    I'm a big RJD fan, but I have to say that it made me uncomfortable hearing him try to affect a smoothly delivered and convincing british accent...
    The action stuff was cool, but the dialogue seemed forced.

    I usually enjoy watching RDJ and Jude law but this looks out of place for them. Looks like just a paycheck but I hope I'm wrong.
  • Eeey wassup Holmes?
