The only bad thing about this new fourth trailer for SH is that with too many trailers for SH floating around out there, what’s the point in seeing the movie if the trailers practically give the whole movie away?

I know Warner Bros. has a lot riding on the success of SH, but a fourth trailer is one trailer too many, imo. :)

That’s how i feel about the ‘New Moon’ trailer. They pretty much just showed the whole movie.

I think you have it right Ross. Somewhere in some interview a while back Robert mentioned that pushing the action in the trailer would bring the crowd that wouldn’t normally be interested in an intellectual detective story, and that once in the theatre the real meat of the story will be the interaction between himself and Jude with all the interesting sleuthing and delicious bi-play the rest of us want to see. I am getting more and more excited as time goes by to see all the good stuff that ties all that action together… yum!

Thank goodness this is the only trailer I’ve watched then. This one spoils the movie enough for two trailers. I have to admit what I saw of the interplay between Downey, Law, and Rachel McAdams makes it worth checking out. It will be interesting how after establishing that set of relationships how Mark Strong is ratcheted into the showdown.

Until such time as the trailer for Iron Man 2 is released, this is now my most wanted to see film.

Oh allow to say: Yippee!
