wait, whats this guy talking about “homemade” style for Gondry? Is it because of Be Kind Rewind?
I do not think Gondry put a “homemade” style for Enternal Sunshine. I can see why Gondry’s upset. Man, this clown has got a great mind with Gondry! I would love to see what Gondry does with Hornet!

Agree with Vic and Darren. Gondry and Rogen can make this work. The films referenced are exactly the tone they need to strike with Green Hornet.

I sadly have to disagree with you Carl; Green Hornet isn’t more “camp” than comedy. Where on earth did you get that from? A lot of people point to the 60’s show, but that exposure was more due to the Batman series crossover episode, which was high camp.

Not to mention the Hornet had a long history of serials in film and radio. While I can imagine a new film in the spirit of ‘Men In Black’, if it is also more in the vein of the old serials, that’s fine too (hence the ‘Raiders’ reference).

I think Rogen and Gondry will pull this off- with or without Chow. Hopefully with.

Chow starring and directing= good

Chow out and or diminished because of creative differences, producers afraid of a non Western Mega Star’s box office appeal or producers fearing that Chow would greatly overshadow fatso Rogan= Crap
