i agree with you about the DB movie, but it wasnt suppose to be a DBZ movie, it was suppose to be telling the story of when goku was a kid as in the original dragonball anime.

p.s this movie looks awsome so far and i cant wait to see it on the beg screen.

I’m looking forward to Holmes and District 9 cj, but I’m also looking forward to some great dvds due out soon. BSG 4.5, Torchwood Children of Earth, Moon etc.
And after watching season one of Oz I now must see all of that show. It never ends.

I get the feeling that shaky-cam will be involved. It’s a textbook way of saying “hey, the actors and effects are in the same shot, so it must be real”.

@stuntman, it might not be a bad thing though, it doesn’t look like they want to bastardize the original, it’s just that with special effects today, they felt they could tell the story better while still respecting the original. And so far it’s looking good. Sam Worthington looks pretty bad ass and that scorpion looks pretty good. Then Liam Neeson as the icing on the cake? Don’t sound too bad to me…

Clash of the Titans is one old movie that does need a remake/upgrade badly.

I don’t see much different between the scorpions but I’m sure even the 1981 scorpion looked “puny” when NOT captured by the camera

That Scorpion looks tired from all the retakes and hard acting work…

@The Critic, I don’t think Cameron wants to show too much of Avatar unless its in 3-D. He obviously wants the shock and awe factor going for him when the time is right. That could be next weekend as I’m sure the world is waiting to see if he’s going to revolutionise 3D.
I read that he’s already shown 20 min of footage to several groups of theater owners and studio heads in hopes of getting them speed up the digital upgrades…
I remember when he used to make movies, now he wants to change the world. Well see,,,

Liam Neeson is great casting for sure. Him and what’s his name from The Island (ewan mcgregor that’s it) were the only things I liked about the latest star wars movies.
