Where would we be without the Smiths? Well, Earth would have been overrun by aliens. Robot squid would have destroyed humanity’s last refuge. A steampunk spider mech would have killed Ulysses S. Grant. Bullies would have harmed a young man’s self-esteem. And we haven’t even gotten to Willow!

Sci-fi thriller After Earth hits theaters May 31 (double Smith bonus!); to warm up, here’s a manifest of the people, things, and institutions saved by the Smiths. It’s a family that has generated $6 billion in box-office gross, adjusting for inflation. Apparently they’ve saved movies too.

  1. That Redwedding invite needs to come down. There is no spoiler alert attached to it… and worse, it’s poorly designed and even worse… it’s not clever.

    • Yep.

I mean, the episode hasn’t aired here until later tonight so now I’m gonna be watching and knowing what’s gonna be happening instead of being surprised by it. Takes the fun and anticipation away.

  2. I’d play with the Wii if it looked that much fun to play with…

    • +1, was better looking than XBox One IMO.

      • The Wii U looks infinitely better than the Xbox One too.

      • I agree with Jon. That guy has terrible taste…

  3. Screenrant… SERIOUSLY take that invite down. What were you thinking?

    • Yep. A tad too spoilery!

  4. How about full disclosure that those illustrations by Francesco Francavilla are teasers for a comic called “Batman 1972″ coming out later this year.

  5. Hah, that XB-one video was funny.
