Seeking Justice is a new Nic Cage movie that was released overseas in 2011, but won’t be making its U.S. theatrical debut until spring 2012. Today we have the Seeking Justice trailer to share, which paints the film as a twisty thriller centered around some somewhat flimsy ethical dilemmas.
Cage stars as Will Gerard, a man whose wife (played by Mad Men actress January Jones) is violently assaulted by a criminal. Stricken with anger, Gerard is approached by “Simon” (Guy Pearce), a man who claims to represent a group of “concerned citizens” who enact vigilante justice against unpunished offenders roaming the city. Gerard accepts Simon’s offer of vengeance, but the price is high: Simon wants a dirty deed in exchange for a dirty deed, but Will isn’t willing to go that distance. Unfortunately for Will, Simon is not the type of man to take “no” for an answer.

HEAD TO APPLE FOR THE HD VERSION
Based on the slow rollout to a statewide premiere – and the fact that the trailer doesn’t look all that convincing – we’re not all that enthused for this one. It was directed by Roger Donaldson, who has a long film resume of hits and misses, including Cocktail, The Getaway, Species, Dante’s Peak, The Recruit and The Bank Job. At best, Donaldson is solid director; at worst, his films are downright bad. We’ll leave it to you to decide which category this film belongs in.
Seeking Justice will be in U.S. theaters on March 16, 2012

I watched this over the weekend. I liked it alot.
its looks pretty good. for a cage film
Sigh.. It’s Guy Pearce so i’ll be seeing it. The way i figure, it comes out in march and i can deal with these stupid little thrillers in the slow season and there’s NO way this can be anywhere near as bad as ‘Trespass’. Although this movie seems like it was made specifically for amazonvideo.
It actually looks pretty good to me surprisingly
My expectations are low, but I’ll give this one a shot on DVD
