  1. I agree that Spider-Man 2 was the best of Raimi’s series, BUT Doc Oc didn’t make sense to me. Throughout the movie he is taking punches and blows from Spidey yet it hardly has any real effect. He’s not superhuman – he just has robot arms – so how can he take these punches without getting knocked out (especially since Spidey has superhuman strength)? Or at least a bloody nose….the only time it seemed Octavius actually got hurt was when Aunt Maay hit him with a wooden umbrella lol

So I’m glad they went with the Lizard for TASM, he should put up a good fight.

  2. Transformers 4 needs to have a solider as the main human lead.

Spiderman still hasn’t sold me on why I should sit through another origin story. But I’m sure it’ll be an okay movie though.

Ben those were actually my picks for this week so you might win. I changed mine to these
    1-The Vow
    2-Ghost Rider 2
    3-This Means War
    4-Journey 2
    5-Safehouse

Also I am not Harvey Weinstein lol Chicks love The Vow

    • I think Josh Duhamel can lead TF4.

      • He totally can. He’s the only human protagonist that can do anything with the transformers. Sam is a kid and can’t really do anything other than yell the transformers names.

BTW have you guys seen the redlettermedia star wars prequel reviews. I think you’ll like it. It’s funny and breaks down why the prequels were bad.

        • Def saw those Red Letter Media reviews. We even wrote a post that sprang from that, I believe.

  3. Ugh, won’t let listen not matter how much I change my settings.

    • Hmmm… I know Kofi was having problems last week. I think it sorted itself out.

Ghost – If it’s still stuck a bit later let us know (as well as share operating system info).

      • well, it kept saying it couldn’t download b/c of my security settings, but it won’t let me no matter how much I change them. even if i put it on the lowest setting.

        • Ghost – did you ever get this sorted out? I had Vic look into it yesterday.

  4. The trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man trailer sold the movie to me big time. At first it just seemed so stupid but the trailer got me hooked. I personally believe that Michael Bay should stop directing Transfomers and get a different director and just take the series in a better direction.

  5. 1 The Vow
    2 Ghost Rider 2
    3 Safe House
    4 This Means War
    5 Journey 2

    10 Underworld

  6. I find episode 1 of star wars very good. I like that Gorege Lucas changed yoda to the episode 2 and 3 yoda insed of tHe agally one from 1999.

    • Despite the negative slant in our podcast convo – I actually did enjoy seeing the movie again in theaters.

  7. I don’t see how you wood want to see the vow I is a chick flick

    • I’d “Vow” it up… That’s some good “lady bait” right there. You squeeze out a couple of tears and they’ll think you’re a gentleman forever. It’s all about choosing when to sell your sell. ;-)

  8. I had to drive from Conneticut to Atlantic City today so I listened to the last 2 podcasts on the way and it helped the 4 hr ride breeze bye.
I do wish I hadn’t fallen behind because I would have liked to throw in my picks for the box office battle. I’ll be sure to check early next week for the next round.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love the podcast. I love watching and talking about movies so this podcast is perfect for someone like me and I’m always recommending it to friends…

    • Glad you’re still enjoying it Kevin – we look forward to your Box Office Battle picks!

  9. First let me say I love your guys’ podcasts. I look forward to them every week. That being said, I am disappointed in how venomous your review was of Phantom Menace 3D. I really do not like the prequels either but holy crap I thought you guys were way too negative. It felt almost like you guys were feeding off each other lol. Just my opinion. Keep those podcasts coming!
