The biggest problem I see with John Carter, especially all the FX shots, is that it is everything we have seen before. Unfortunately being the grand-daddy of all fantasy/sci-fi is that it’s influence has been felt with the Star Wars prequels all the way to Planet Hulk.
Although, I am really looking forward to John Carter the most. Perhaps, they should have changed some of the designs of the Tharks and even the Gorilla?
I loved Chronicle. I was almost not going to see it but all the reviews were giving this great reviews so I had to see this. I’m loving how this year has been pretty good so far. I told my friends exactly what you said Unbreakable/Episode 3 but done better. It was an excellent origin story
The Avengers TV Spot has revived my hope for that movie.
Thank you Anthony for trying out the Chicken McBites
My box office battle picks:
1.)The Vow
2.)Phantom Menace 3D
3.)Journey 2
4.)Safe House
5.)Chronicle
All the chicks on Facebook have been talking about the vow for weeks now and everyone loves Jar Jar “betta here den in da coor!! Egads what a missa saying!!!”
The space needle scene kinda reminded me of the Simpsons ride at universal studios.
Hahaha, fantastic Final Thought! This was my favorite episode to date. I was especially surpised that you liked Chronicle so much. I knew I wanted to see it in theatres (mostly for the superhero aspect to hold me over until summer), but didn’t think the trailers were THAT impressive. Glad to hear it’s pretty solid!
1- Star Wars
2- The Vow
3- Chronicle
4- Journey 2
5- Safe House
Great podcast! Will John Carter is this years Green Lantern? I doubt it but we will see.
