It amazes me that you observed all of this as “background noise”…You’re pretty observant with your back turned, to “hear” people the way you do???
This phenomenon is way older than you or I…A notch above ECW wrestling? I’ve never seen a ghost hunter on this show display the kind of fictional and sometimes deadly behavior of a wrestler
and just because they’ve allowed celebrities from other network shows to appear, does that discount their work?
These guys have always tried to disprove situations first, and what they were left with was unexplainable….Have any good answers, Einstein? If so, solve the rest of our country’s problems…But, turn Sci Fi and the Ghost Hunters off first…don’t want to cloud your judgement with “background noise”…

Well,
TAPS tries to solve theoretical hauntings but always comes back to thier experiences working with Roto-Rooter this is a real pain how every thing relates to un-clogging toilets. Allot of crap.

The crews personal problems with each other is an obvious attempt to kill time I rather hear more about the locations then the crew.

I can’t believe you’re semi-dissing on Ghost Hunters. That’s one of the best shows EVER. Even the episodes where they don’t find anything or just get spooked by their own shadows are freakin’ hilarious! I make sure to never miss a new episode.

It’s not all about catching the ghosts. It’s fun because of the hunters themselves. You gotta see the one where Steve breaks down and starts crying his eyes out because he’s afraid of flying when they’re planning a trip to England. This is a great show and I recommend you keep watching it. It’s got drama, humor and sometimes ghosts. And some of the ghosts they find can be REALLY creepy.

I have become a fan of this show I must admit.

I respect the fact that they are actually trying to DISPROVE a haunting. To show that the problems are man made.

BUT, occasionally they do get some scary and interesting things on tape.

In one episode they were at the hotel that inspired Stephen King’s The Shining, and they caught on camera a closet door, not only opening and then shutting back again, but locking itself shut. You can clearly hear the lock move.

And in the same episode they caught on camera a glass shattering by itself, very creepy.

Admittedly it doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it makes for great TV.
