I know they sort of have this stargate reunion thing going on for the show, and kudos to Amanda Tapping for trying something new. but why didn’t Claudia Black come up in the casting of this? or just plain being involved?

I’m a huge Amanda Tapping fan, so I was pre-disposed to liking Sanctuary, but I think it is a pretty cool show. I watched the initial 8 webisodes (roughly 15 minutes each – a total of 2 hours) and thought they were really great. Apparently they are reshooting everything – though they are taking the webisode storylines and using them in the series – just expanding everything. I say – give it a chance!

Well, I may be a little biased in that I expect quality in something so hyped, but its unimpressive. Seriously, it screams Sci Fi(sci fi has good stuff don’t get me wrong) with the bad acting, and the really really bad, horribly bad, monster design(monster design I don’t mean the cgi quality or makeup quality, I mean the way the monsters are meant to look and have been concepted). And if I hear that music again or that villain, Lex Luthor wannabe talk again, I might have to slaughter something.

Sounds decent, but I’ll wait until I watch the internet stuff to decide. Sci Fi channel, very very rarely puts out something I can stand. I’m saying that in the nicest way I can.
