Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is now just over a week from release and hopes to prove to the general public that there's more to the Star Wars universe than just the saga of the Skywalkers. The film stars Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything) as Jyn Erso, the daughter of the Death Star's architect and an affiliate of the Rebel Alliance. Set just before the original Star Wars film, Jyn and a small band of Rebels (code named Rogue One) set out to capture the plans necessary to destroy the deadly battle station. We already know they are successful (Princess Leia does have the plans at the beginning of the original film), but audiences still don't know the cost that came with the mission.

There are already a swath of collectibles available for fans of Star Wars to celebrate the launch of Rogue One, but for those who only accept the finest, there's Hot Toys. The Hong Kong-based company's licenses are far reaching, covering everything from the Marvel and DC films to older classics like Alien and Back to the Future. Hot Toys has already released a number of figures from the original Star Wars trilogy, last year's The Force Awakens, and now Rogue One, including Death Troopers and the blind Rebel warrior, Chirrut Îmwe.

Hot Toys has now officially unveiled the protagonist of Rogue One in all her sixth scale glory. The figure comes in two iterations: standard ($219.99) and deluxe ($249.99). The deluxe version comes with a few additional accessories, including a poncho, a bandolier, an aviator hat with goggles, four blaster parts that combine with her blaster pistol to form a rifle, a pair of quadnoculars, and a breathing mask. Both versions are now available for pre-order via Sideshow Collectibles. The figure is expected to ship between July and September of 2017.

Considering Hot Toys' inclination for variants (they literally have a "Porcelain Pattern" themed Stormtrooper), there's a good chance that an iteration of Jyn in her Imperial disguise is also in the cards. Jyn's reveal photos confirm that a K-2SO figure is on its way, but more are likely to follow depicting the remaining members of Rogue One, especially if the pre-order of these initial figures is successful.

Do you collect Hot Toys? If not, has this fantastically realized Jyn convinced you that it's time to start? Let us know in the comments section, and stay tuned for more updates and impressions on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as they hit.
