I'm a little skeptical about Cowboys and Aliens being translated to the big screen (and yes, I read the graphic novel, so don't get mad with me...), primarily because the last Western movie with a sci-fi overtone was The Wild Wild West (from 1999, if memory serves), and it didn't do too well at the box office.

But, having said that, if they stick to the original story, and if they can make it interesting and fun, I'll be there. Considering the roster of talent behind it, hope they can pull a good-sized box office rabbit out of this particular hat.

Cowboys and Aliens was a great read. The graphic novel kept me interested and the only disappointment was that there wasn't a second one so I could continue with the story. I hope they can stay somewhat true to the original story line, but either way, ths is going to be a big hit.
