  1. Are you kidding me with this top 10 list from Rotten Tomatoes. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed both Cabin in the woods and the Avengers but for those movies to be ranked #4 and dark knight Rises not even to be in it makes whatever this lady says pointless. She says these are smart movies the engage the viewer. Both the Avengers and Cabin are mindless romps that are fun and in no way require any thought. The Dark Knight Rises at least had some gripping scenes with real emotion and depth it has its flaws but hands down has more substance than the Avengers. This lady should not be able to work as a film critic anymore she is an idiot.

    • Although I do think the Avengers based on sales does have to be in the top 10, I also think her choices on the list is just dumb. I mean Silver Linings Playbook for #1? I would have rated these as my top 10 films of 2012

      1. The Hobbit(Based on hype)
      2. Dark Knight Rises
      3. Lincoln
      4. Skyfall
      5. Les Miz
      6. Cloud Atlas
      7. The Avengers
      8. Looper
      9. Django Unchained
      10. Hunger Games

  2. is it weird to be a hybrid between geek and nerd?

    • That’s what I was thinking! And I stop reading comic books for a few months and spider-man’s dead! WTF!

  3. Spidey will always be my #1(on the Marvel side)for as long as I live.

    • Peter Parker: Spiderman is my favorie superhero of all time!

  4. I don’t get it. If a geek is supposedly an early adopter of new technology, why would the geek in the first example be pulling out an iPhone?? Every tech-geek I know makes fun of the iPhone because it’s always the last to adopt every new technology. We’re all still waiting for them to “invent” NFC so it would be more widespread so we can use the feature that all of our phones already have had for over a year now…

  5. Spider-Man is dead…for good?

Stan Lee, MARVEL Comics…they were okay with this?

    • They didn’t just kill Peter Parker, doc Ock switched bodies with him and he died in ocks body, so Ock is now in Peter and has his life. Total travesty. Hurts to be spidey fan today.

      • Yeah, I looked into it. I’m sorry, but there is no Spider-Man without Peter Parker. If MARVEL truely stood by their reasoning, many iconic heroes would’ve died long ago. They should’ve left Peter’s death for an aftermath of “Spider-Man: Reign”.

Yes, thank you Peter Parker. Your legacy will be cherished by many. We all know you didn’t deserve to go like this

  7. I feel writers are running out of ideas. I also feel they do not care about their readers or comic fans. I will believe my own stories. Peter Parker is not dead.
