This news just sucks. I read about it in the Worcester, MA paper this morning (where Andy went to college) and the water works started. Why do the good ones have to go so young?

So sad to hear this. I was a HUGE angel fan myself.
It's the only show that I can cue up every so often
and end up watching the entire series all over again.
Great show. Very sad news. He certainly left his mark
    on Angel/Buffy fans.

Damn this is awful news. Lorne was an excellent character and Hallett really brought him to life. Even though he had little to no experience he fit the role perfect and was a terrific actor. He will be greatly missed.

    Rest In Peace Andy Hallett

    Oh.My.God.

I just can't believe this, I'm in total shock! This is worse than Ledger!

First Quinn, now Hallett - is Angel cursed?
  • It is indeed too young.

33, wow, that is wayyyyy to young to be taken. RIP Andy.

The end of season 2 is where Lorne really becomes one of the gang and comes into his own. I loved that whole adventure into his old world.

I remember watching that with my mum, who wasn't a fan and so barely took it in, but when she saw his head in the basket she got all upset as she really liked him. I think most took an instant liking to the character.

If you've not seen season 5 yet I won't ruin it, but I think all Angel fans agree Lorne gets one of the best moments at the end.

Real shame about Andy, especially when so young. He brought that character to life.
