New Ride Along 2 Trailer Teases the Upcoming Sequel
A new trailer has been released for Ride Along 2, the upcoming sequel starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube. The film picks up the story after the conclusion of the original 2014 hit, with its two leads now police partners sent to take down a drug lord in Miami.
Director Tim Story also returns for the action comedy, which features a supporting cast that includes Tika Sumpter, Benjamin Bratt, Olivia Munn, Ken Jeong, and Tyrese Gibson. It is currently set for release on January 15, 2016, a date that pits it against Michael Bay's 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, animated sequel The Nut Job 2, and the young adult novel adaptation/sci-fi adventure The 5th Wave.

Tom Hiddleston takes the stage in the I Saw the Light trailer
Tom Hiddleston -- best known the world over for his role as Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe -- stars as legendary country singer Hank Williams in the trailer for I Saw the Light. The film co-stars Elizabeth Olsen (Avengers: Age of Ultron) as his wife/manager/duet partner, and will delve into Williams' rise to fame and tragic death at the age of 29.
Marc Abraham wrote and directed the biopic, which marks his second such film following the 2008 release, Flash of Genius. Based on the book "Hank Williams: The Biography" by Colin Escott, George Merritt and William MacEwen, I Saw the Light is set for release on March 25, 2016.

Oscar Isaac stars in the new trailer for William Monahan's Mojave
Oscar-winning screenwriter William Monahan (The Departed) makes his second directorial effort with Mojave, a new crime thriller that has just received its first trailer. The film -- which stars Oscar Isaac, Garrett Hedlund, Mark Wahlberg, Louise Bourgoin and Walton Goggins -- centers on a near-suicidal artist (Hedlund) who encounters a homidical drifter (Isaac).
Monahan (who also wrote Mojave) previously directed the 2010 crime film London Boulevard starring Colin Farrell, Keira Knightley and David Thewlis. Mojave made its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year and has just been released on DirecTV Cinema. It will open in limited theatrical release on January 8, 2016.

The Gray Man starring Charlize Theron brings on new writers
Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse -- the writing team behind upcoming sports drama Race -- have signed on to rewrite The Gray Man, the film adaptation of Mark Greaney's novel. Christopher McQuarrie (Mission: Impossible -- Rogue Nation) is attached to direct Oscar-winner Charlize Theron in the film, which was previously written by Joe and Anthony Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier).
The Gray Man has since incorporated a gender swap for its protagonist, allowing Theron to take on the project as an expert CIA operative-turned-assassin. The subject matter falls in line with Shrapnel and Waterhouse's recent work adapting Circle of Treason, based on a book by CIA agents Sandy Grimes and Jeanne Vertefeuille.
