I was on the fence about this one, Vic. I liked the previews and I usually love Adam Sandler movies, with Happy Gilmore being one of the funniest movies ever made (IMO). I think I might just wait for this to come on out DVD and get it through Netflix.

I’m personally getting pretty sick and tired of these movies meant to be humourous through stupidity, most of that credit goes to Will Ferrell with Anchorman (which was the worst theatre experience ever because no one was laughing)

Some are good like Dodgeball, but recent ones like Blades of Glory and Semi-Pro are terrible. Sandler hasn’t made a good movie in a long time. Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison were that last solid ones although waterboy had its moments.

Vic,
If you torture us more
with straddle contortions
Can you find some pics
with less scrotal torsion?

I have a Regal free ticket voucher and was planning on using it to see Zohan. From Vic’s review, I may have to wait and see something else for free (maybe The Happening). The last Adam Sandler movie I really liked was Happy Gilmore (well, Longest Yard was funny but the original was better).

Sandler’s movies are all the same as he is very one-dimensional..I haven’t enjoyed one of his flicks since the waterboy…Same formula and it’s like new Coke…Not Good!!
