Man, I was a huge fan of Shaun of the Dead (I love zombies.) And I equally liked Hot Fuzz. It’s one of those movies that keeps you entertained the entire time and leaves you with a huge smile.

I found the last 30 minutes to be reminiscent of video games in a way that helped it feel like even more fun.

Am I the only one that caught Sledgehammer reference at the end? Did you? Did you?

I loved Hot Fuzz, saw the first day it came out. I think the reason it didn’t do as well in the U.S. was because it was on limited number of screens, but it still did pretty good all things considered.

Yeah! Don’t you remember? It was TV shoe back in the 80’s. A really stupid cop the slept with his gun would shot everything in sight before doing anything half smart. His catch phrase was “Trust me I knnow what I’m doing.”

In the season finale they had to defuse a nuke. It blew up and somehow the main characters survived to testify in court the next season. Like the end of Hot Fuzz.

“By the power of Greyskull!”

I *loved* that line! :-)
Alfredo, ok, I gotcha. That was pretty funny at the end of the movie, wasn’t it?

That’s right Simone, score one for a movie from across the pond (from me). :-)
