We recently posted a whole batch of images from the upcoming sequel (fourquel?), Resident Evil: Afterlife, the fourth film in the popular video game movie franchise. However, if that wasn’t enough to wet your appetite, today we have a couple more images, as well as a new poster.

In case you’re wondering, here’s the official synopsis for Resident Evil: Afterlife:

In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

I have to admit I’m looking forward to this next Resident Evil film, even though I thought the second and third films sucked. The first one is a guilty pleasure of mine that I find very rewatchable and with any luck the fourth one will echo that sentiment. The first trailer for Resident Evil 4 looked fun (although it played up the 3D aspect a bit too much), and I’m willing to give it a shot.

What do you think of the latest poster and images from the latest Resident Evil? Are you looking forward to the movie?

Resident Evil: Afterlife opens in 3D and regular theaters on September 10th, 2010.

  1. OMG Milla Jovovich AND Wentworth Miller in the same movie? I love them both. Oh and I’m also looking forward to this movie not sucking as bad as 2 and 3.

  2. I too have a guilty pleasure with the first film and although not as dissapointed by the second installment I was let down with the thrid and hope that this fourth will regain some lost ground.

  3. This could really be the turning point for this franchise. With adaptations like “POP” getting better and the fact that the “RE” sequels were …. lackluster warmed up leftovers; I seriously wonder who would have the confidence to loan the cash for any further efforts. Let’s hope it hits all the sweet spots or perhaps even wrap up the franchise…

  4. As long a it is better than the last film, I am a happy boy.

    I L0VE HIM =]

  6. Super las fotos de afterlife me encantaron me encanta milla jovovich
