How was teh second film a failure when it groseed more then it cost to make?

Perhaps it was a failure compared to your critque but it was certainly not a box office failure nor was the thrid one whcih even i admit was a let down from what was hyed and what I had hoped it would be.

RE2 Stats:
Budget = 45Million
BO Take = 51 Million (domestically); 129 Million world-wide

Profit = 129 – 45 = 84 million
Now how does 84 million in profit whcih excludes after market like rental & sel thru, equate to a failure?

the other films were nothing like the games. i will watch this next one but i think that the franchise is ruined. i really want to see them remake these films more like the first video game with a big ass tyrant that does not talk,wesker,chris redfield,hunters,soiders,snakes,sharks,plant 42, (etc). so remake this crap after part 4.

I’m looking forward to c this movie.WM is a a great and talented actor.He deserves the best.
I’m sure he’ll do Chris Redfield so well.
I’ve never been interested in this kind of movies b4,but with Wentworth it’s totally different.I’ll enjoy watching it just because of him.I’m now going to c the previous 3 RE movies to understand the storyline

I’m not a great fan of zombie movies but with Wentworth just ANYTHING is worth watching. I’m sure he will make the film a worldwide success!

Wentworth is handsome,adorable & so talented.He’ll be great as any character he represents.I’ve seen him in different roles + PB,he is amazing in all of his work.IMO it’s not necessary to look almost the same like the character on the game though Went is not far from it.
I wish 4 him good luck,just seeing him makes me happy.
I pray for him to get all success he deserves I adore him and want to see him 24hr 7days aweek

that being said i sick of mila jocavich and im happy it wil be getting rebooted. I love wentworth miller and im going to enjoy him inn the film even though he doesn look right for the part(someone like thomas jane would be great)I hope the new trilogy stars wentworth miller(asuming he does good in afterlife)
