I’m sure Christopher Nolan would put dubstep in his movies
Maybe. If he had a gun to his head.
poor dogs, they are no toys or little kids, and especially this race of dog are mixed with another dog race, and about the centuries they have get their small legs and short snout. he can´t breath so good like other dog races with long snouts. what i want to say is i love dogs, because i have an rodezian ridgeback my old boy, and these dogs are mixed too,but in a positive way. but those dogs in this clip are specially mixed trough humans for the rich ladies, because they like those short snouts and short legs. but that is torture for the short life of the poor dog. sorry, but if the thema are dogs and they get showed so dumb from the dumb owner, then my justice for dogs is maybe understandable.
I suppose it’s Nolan-esque in that he only vaguely looks like a Power Ranger and the fight choreography sucks
Yeah, the real power rangers had more believable fight scenes than that crap.
OMG!!! Red Rising is one of the worst shorts I have ever seen. To even mention Nolan in the same article is insane. Also, that is NOT Nolan’s style, AT ALL!!! What the hell, guys???
that marching band was insane!!!!
Chris Nolan? Oh please… Nothing close to a Nolan movie. as close to a Nolan film as Vajayjay is to a gay guy!
The dub step wasn’t bad for the tone. It’s different then what we are used to as Ranger fans. Did anyone here read the description of the video? These guys had nothing to work with. They didn’t even have real actors. A+ for effort. Solid B for the video taking into consideration what they had. Nice shot composition, though the fight gets a bit sloppy.
Overall… I WANT MORE

That power rangers short is really good. Love camera work! And the red ranger casted perfect! Keep it up Nolan!
RED RISING WAS SICK! They have my attention. I don’t know why all the complaining about the DUBSTEP… it was fitting for what was shot. Cant wait to see what they do next.
I enjoyed “Red Rising” especially since i knew what i was getting before i clicked the play button. Alot of you didnt read the description on how these guys had virtually $0 for a budget. I think the Dubstep wasnt AS BAD as u all say it is. And the fighting was great but it was watchable. The beginning was awesome and the reveal was also pretty damn slick.
Edit: the fighting was NOT great, but watchable.
And after watching it multiple times i noticed that there was something after the credits….NOW I WANT MORE ASAP!!!!
Someone needed to make a Ranger Video like this! I love seeing the “Darker” side of the red ranger! Great job and I hope to see more!!
Loved the mmpr short. for the next one can you cast rita repulsa? I would love to be her!
It’s Nolan-esque in terms of it being a grown-up, gritty version. Remember that Nolan has millions for a budget and these ppl have $0. I would see this in a full version at the theater. I grew up w/MMPR and i’m glad the short appeals to my generation.
The marching band half time show was great, but it doesn’t seem to fit the SR geek picks theme of being movie related, does it?
While many will argue and complain this wasn’t a good PR short… it is hands down the best one created to date. In terms of production value? I read the video description, I’m amazed at what these guys came up with. I mean, hey the story wasn’t award winning, and the fighting might have been off, but the cinematography was Hollywood grade.
Red Rising looks so cool!
