Just watched all three movies last night, here in the US, and they were great. After watching the first one, the plot was so good, I had to stay up and watch the other two. Most interesting movies that I have seen in a long time.

Saw all three would have been much better had i been able to understand the damn mumbling of that accent. Poorly done acousticaly and the soundtrack Bleah. I have but one question though, what the hell was the priest going to do with that drill? I mean do you just let someone drill your head withhout a fight!?!?!?

Beautifully executed and definitely worth putting the time in. Be prepared to pay pretty close attention though; it’s not a series that insults your intelligence by shoving key details down you throat and it is certainly rewarding down the line when things start to shape up.

As it stands, I’m still a bit woolly around the ending but as it’s been a good month or two since I watched 1974, I’m sure I’ve missed a few central points that help to explain the climax. Still, it’s a bleak and gritty tragedy, one that leaves very few of its characters untarnished and it is this complete lack of compromise or sentimentality that makes it such refreshing viewing.

Give it a look.

SOunds like Zodiac x 3…I thought Zodiac was excellent and very underrated so I will definitely give this a try if I see it..

Seen this advertised and written about and looks really good. Certainly has a 70s feel and very nasty with it.
