]]> By: tricky http://screenrant.com/red-dawn-remake-cast-ross-20922/comment-page-1/#comment-154990 tricky Sun, 22 Nov 2009 03:16:46 +0000 http://screenrant.com/?p=20922#comment-154990 Wow, a remake of Red Dawn, now I'm usually up to speed on what's happening as far as movies being made but did not hear about this one till I visited this website, which I'm very happy to have found but back to the Red Dawn remake, I have some serious issues with the idea, first of all the original is a classic and has become a cult movie, itls one of those movies that is so clearly made in the 80's, second the actors in the original were perfectly cast , thirdly, there is a grittiness to the film that you just don't see in movies today.....well, I hope that remake will retain at least the flavor of the original, that the cast will be good and that it won't be some sort of big hollywood budgeted movie with a heavy dose of gloss and make up to hide it flaws and please don't overload us with the CGI....well, hopefully it pays homage to the original and not desecrate it.
