I’m not watching the trailer even though I’m 33. If it’s that creepy, I’d rather sleep tonight :)

I will comment that the synopsis sounds way too campy to be taken seriously, but if I’ve learned anything lately is that one can’t dismiss a concept on how it sounds on paper. There have been too many exceptions to the rule lately.

“A film based on a theme park ride? BOMB!” “A rat who wants to be a chef? What the…”

Ah come on Jersycajun everyone knows mirrors can trap evil spirits that refuse the light, Gheesh where ya been? Jersey? ;-)

I’m totally seeing this for what this is.
This is genius, a 24 movie prequel to the 24 tv show prequel.

We all watched 24 last season, :-p we all know that Jack’s struggling mentally and for work. With CTU gone underground Jack’s got to take on this Security guard gig just to get by. They don’t do good background checks and he fakes his way in.
He gets a cushy mall detail and finds peace, yet something is wrong, disturbing,,,,,evil.
This takes place between 8:30am and 5pm. MIRRORS!!!! Rated R!

I’m there!

Ok, save for the overused Silent Hill “I’m having a Grand Mal seizure effect, this looks very cool. Add in one very scared Jack Bauer and you just earned the first horror movie I’ll pay to see in the theaters in the last 5 years. After I see the Rotten Tomatoes rating, of course.

I don’t do scary movies, but I made an exception for this one (based on the trailer found here). Girl in the theatre screamed in fear at the very beginning of the film. The entire theatre laughed, and it was all good entertainment after that! Keifer’s good but I think Amy Smart could have had a little more oomph in her part.
