Summit Entertainment has revealed new theatrical release dates and loglines for several noteworthy upcoming projects.

Those titles include: writer/director Gavin Hood's Ender's Game adaptation, the currently-directorless action-comedy sequel RED 2, Jonathan Levine's Warm Bodies film adaptation, Louis Leterrier's heist thriller Now You See Me, and Scott Derrickson's low-budget horror flick Sinister.

Ender's Game - which is also being produced by sci-fi genre masterminds Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci - will be released in (possibly, both 2D and 3D) theaters around the U.S. on March 15th, 2013. Here is the film's official logline:

Based on the award-winning, landmark best-seller by Orson Scott Card, on a futuristic earth, only the best and brightest children are recruited by a government desperate to fight back after an alien attack. When young Ender Wiggin emerges as a genius strategist, he suddenly becomes humanity's last and best hope to destroy the alien Formic race.

While the search is still on to find a helmer for RED 2, the sequel to last year's sleeper comic book-turned-movie hit will see its predecessor's respected main cast (including Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, and John Malkovich) return for a new adventure where "they use their old-school style to take on a new set of enemies all across Europe."

RED 2 will hit the scene on August 2nd, 2013 - almost six months after another Euro-action blockbuster featuring Willis (A Good Day to Die Hard, a.k.a Die Hard 5) arrives in theaters... and about a year after Willis takes on a bigger role in the badass ensemble sequel, The Expendables 2. Suffice it to say, the man's not ready to retire his action star hat just yet.

Levine's Warm Bodies adaptation is scheduled for theatrical release in the U.S. on August 10th, 2012. Here is the official logline for the 50/50 helmer's adaptation of Isaac Marion's popular zombpocalyptic novel:

When a highly unusual zombie (Nicholas Hoult) rescues a girl (Teresa Palmer) from imminent death at the hands of his cohorts, their unlikely romance sets in motion a chain of events that will transform him, his fellow dead, and maybe even the whole lifeless world.

Now You See Me is the latest high-octane cinematic thrill ride from The Transporter helmer Louis Leterrier. Its cast includes notables like Jesse Eisenberg, Morgan Freeman, and Woody Harrelson (among others) as players in a cat-and-mouse bank robbery game involving the FBI and "a super-team of the world's greatest illusionists." It will be released in U.S. theaters on January 18th, 2013.

Lastly, Sinister is being co-written/directed by Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose) and produced by Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious). Here is an official description of the film:

A true crime novelist (Ethan Hawke) struggling to find his next big story discovers a box of home videos showing other families being brutally murdered, but his investigation soon leads him to a supernatural entity that may be placing his own family in harm’s way.

Look for Sinister to try and not follow in the financial missteps of this summer's supernatural horror dud (Don't Be Afraid of the Dark) when it arrives in U.S. theaters on August 24th, 2012.

To reiterate: Warm Bodies will lead this pack when it lumbers into U.S. theaters on August 10th, 2012.

Sinister aims to spook U.S. moviegoers when it hits theaters two weeks later on August 24th, 2012.

Now You See Me hopes to become an early year hit when it is released in the U.S. on January 18th, 2013.

Ender's Game arrives in U.S. theaters a couple months thereafter on March 15th, 2013.

RED 2 is the last (but hopefully, not the least) release of this lot, being slated to reach theaters on August 2nd, 2013.
