I liked it, it reminded me of a comedic version of Brimestone. If anybody remembers that great show, John Glover played the Devil in that one and was great.

I liked this episode…but am unsure how long the premise can last before getting stale. I mean I want to love this show but I just get the feeling its going to get old rather quickly in that same old Star Trek Voyager “Forehead Alien of the week” type affair. Who knows, I could be wrong, and for our sakes, i hope I am.

Hirogen,

Far be it for me to be a defender of episodic TV shows, but it seems like these days writers have gotten better at avoiding the syndrome you’re referring to. Older shows were rife with that problem: The A-Team, Nightrider, The Incredible Hulk, etc., etc.

That’s not to say it still can’t happen, though. I had a similar concern regarding the new show “Journeyman.”
