Even though Jacqueline Laurita of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is no longer on the show, the former housewife is speaking out against Melissa Gorga. Jacqueline left the franchise back in 2017 after a few personalities became too much for her. With her husband, Chris, Jacqueline then relocated to Las Vegas.
Jacqueline married into the Manzo family and first starred on the show with her two sisters-in-law, Caroline and Dina Manzo. Jacqueline was a fan favorite partly due to her outspoken daughter, Ashlee Holmes, who went up against Danielle Staub, and her friendship with fellow original housewife Teresa Giudice. For years, the two women were best friends, but after seven seasons, they had a massive falling out, leaving Jacqueline feeling betrayed. Since stepping back, the RHONJ star has been spending time with her children and making sure to give back.
Jacqueline Laurita & Melissa Gorga Are On The Outs
With RHONJ season 13 close to premiering, some drama has already started concerning Melissa's former friendship with Jacqueline. In an interview with All About TRH, Jacqueline called out the Envy owner for being a liar. The mother of three shared that Melissa is very good at manipulating people, revealing she was extremely upset with how Melissa turned her back on her when she left the show. Jacqueline was always a good friend to the Gorgas and often stood up for them when Teresa would bash the couple.
Jacqueline Has No Plans To Return To RHONJ
Jacqueline also alleged that Melissa was often "paranoid" about her relationship with Teresa. Jacqueline went into more detail about her hypotheses, sharing she believed that Melissa became "jealous" over the friendship between her and Teresa and inevitably was the one to create a "wedge" between them, never reconciling as producers had hoped. Jacqueline doubled down during the interview, sharing that she had no intention of ever befriending Melissa again, stating the singer can lie "with a straight face."
Even though Jacqueline has no intention of returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey or the popular The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip spinoff, her sister-in-law, Caroline, has. Currently, Caroline is filming in Morocco, with a lot of excitement surrounding her return. The new season of the Garden State franchise is set to premiere in February, with Melissa and Teresa still at one another's throats. Even though Jacqueline is no longer on the show, some behaviors never change.
