Heather Dubrow said The Real Housewives of Orange County is like football "but with more brain damage." The OC alum poked fun at the show that made her famous thanks to a chance at learning stand-up comedy.

The wife of a plastic surgeon, Dubrow made a household name for herself when she appeared on season 7 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, but left after the 11th season ended. The reality star was known for her straight talk and designer outfits, which were always impeccably worn. While she was not always a fan favorite, Dubrow left a lasting impression on viewers who are calling for her return to the show.

Dubrow has not been with The Real Housewives of Orange Country for some time now - four years to be exact - but that is not stopping the actress from adding her two cents when it comes to talking about the hit franchise. Since retiring from the reality show, Dubrow had kept herself busy by continuing to add on to her gigantic house, which fans will remember from her time in front of the cameras. Dubrow and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, who stars on the show Botched, are also busy selling their skincare line on OVC. On top of that, the New York native hosts her own podcast called Heather Dubrow’s World.

Most recently, Dubrow took a stab at stand up comedy, according to Reality Tea, when she decided to participate in David Spade’s Comedy Central show, Lights Out. Fans will recall how serious Dubrow could be, at times, which gave her the nickname "fancy pants," but the housewife may have found her calling. During the comedy show, there was a segment called “Build a Comic,” in which Dubrow was fed jokes while on stage, which was fun considering the audience had no idea the jokes were not hers. Dubrow admitted before the show that she had great respect for comics, as she understood performing could be nerve-wracking. During her set, the actress made fun of the college bribery scandal and even poked fun at her costars, saying that if you don’t know what The Real Housewives is, it’s like football for women.”  She ended her bit saying that the housewives have more “brain damage” than a football player - which makes sense since last week's episode was an over-the-top birthday celebration with grown women rolling around on a restaurant floor.

When Dubrow was on the hit Bravo show, it was hit-or-miss whether fans liked watching her, as some believed she was too snooty, while others thought she brought a welcomed voice of reason. But, for most fans, it was a nice change of pace to see Dubrow making the headlines instead of another catfight. With all the current changes going on behind the scenes at the network, fans are hoping that maybe Dubrow will make a return and hold her orange once again.
