The Real Housewives of Orange County's Gina Kirschenheiter is happy with her new "trustworthy" boyfriend. In spite of going through a nasty divorce with her ex-husband, she's finding happiness again.

The budding romance comes on the one-year anniversary of her splitting with her high school sweetheart, Matt Kirshcenheiter. Gina and Matt were together for over 11 years and share custody of their three children, Nicholas, Luca, and Sienna. Viewers learned that the couple’s split was due to Matt cheating on Gina. They even had an argument in June where Matt allegedly choked and hit the housewife, forcing Gian to run to the neighbors for help.

Gina opened up to People about what it was like to have to open her self up again after a very messy divorce. The Real Housewife of Orange County blushed as she said that the two have a lot in common when it came to how they wanted to live their lives and the morals that guided them. She told People that “I just know he’s a person that’s extremely trustworthy, extremely loyal.” Gina took to her Instagram account on Monday and shared a smiling photo of the two looking very comfortable with one another while enjoying some time out in public. They agreed that they were complete goofballs and just made each other laugh every chance they got, which is what the Long Island native so desperately needed. The platinum blonde housewife made her personal life Instagram official with her new boyfriend Travis Mullen, see the post below.

The happy couple has been dating since August after having met through a shared friend. The newly divorced housewife said that “I don’t really like anybody,” so she was shocked when she just clicked with Travis. Gina went on to say she usually finds something wrong in all the men she dates so it was refreshing that he was just a nice person. The reality star had previously said that she would never marry again but now this new relationship seems to have given her a second chance a married life. She did say that Travis had no intention of making any appearances on the show but is hoping to twist his arm into maybe one episode.

Currently, the housewife and her estranged husband are working through the terms of their divorce. The whole situation has been very hard on the housewife even though she has tried to stay positive and respect her soon to be ex-husband. Fans are beyond thrilled to see that Gina has found herself a new man and is moving on with her life. To keep updated on the latest gossip, viewers can tune into Bravo and follow the new season.
