The Real Housewives franchise has seen a lot of long-time cast members quit in recent months. From Bethenny Frankel to Vicki Gunvalson, it seems like literally everyone is leaving, and it's strange to watch these new seasons without the familiar faces who have been there since the first episode (or at least the early days).

Many of these women have become massive reality stars, and that's because they have been on their respective series for such a long time. But who has had the longest run on the franchise?

Bethenny Frankel (8 Seasons)

Bethenny Frankel from The Real Housewives of New York

Bethenny has appeared in eight seasons of The Real Housewives Of New York. She was on season 1-3, took a break, and came back for seasons 7-11.

This popular cast member didn't come back for season 12, and many people would love it if she had never left at all. There's definitely a glaring absence as fans love Bethenny's clever sayings and strong personality.

Lisa Vanderpump (9 Seasons)

Kyle Richard Lisa Vanderpump The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Appearing in nine seasons of RHOBH, Lisa Vanderpump is definitely an OG housewife. It's strange to watch the latest season without this famous cast member. Lisa was always a bright spot on the show, with her warm heart and love of animals and fabulous pink outfits.

It was heartbreaking to watch the other ladies fight with Lisa in her last season, and although so many friendships fell apart, Lisa stayed classy and kept her head held high. She could come back to the show any time and fans would be happy to see her.

Sonja Morgan (10 Seasons)

Does she have a ton of businesses or not? Is she selling her townhouse or staying put? Does she love Ramona Singer or is there some weird tension there?

Fans of the Bravo franchise have a lot of questions about Sonja Morgan, who has appeared in season 3 to 12 of The Real Housewives of New York. She's become such a party girl that in recent seasons, she has literally passed out or hurt herself by jumping on tables, which isn't that fun to watch.

Kyle Richards (10 Seasons)

Real Housewives' Kyle Richards Urges Sister to Seek Mental Health Treatment

Kyle Richards has been on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since the very beginning. She started off strong on the franchise, showcasing her strained relationship with her sister Kim. It was always sweet seeing Kyle raise her daughters with her kind-hearted husband.

But lately, Kyle has been crying a lot during dinner parties and acting like everyone is mad at her, and it's a little tiresome.

Teresa Giudice (10 Seasons)

Teresa’s Green Reunion Dress

Teresa Giudice has appeared in all 10 seasons of The Real Housewives Of New Jersey. While she can definitely say the wrong thing sometimes (okay, a lot of the time), the show wouldn't feel like RHONJ if she wasn't on it.

Whether she's doing yoga, entering a competition, spending time with her beautiful daughters, or dealing with the fallout of her very public legal battle, Teresa is both vulnerable and mysterious. And that combination makes her a great cast member.

Luann de Lesseps (11 Seasons)

LuAnn in a black dress on RHONY

Luann appeared as a "friend" in the sixth season of RHONY but has been in every other season, making her one of the cast members who has been on the show the longest, at 11 seasons.

The other ladies are exhausted with the way that she always talks about cabaret... and fans could totally say the same thing. Like Sonja, Luann has kind of worn out her welcome on the show, as she doesn't really have many storylines anymore — or at least any interesting ones.

Kandi Burruss (11 Seasons)

Kandi Burruss has appeared in 11 seasons of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, coming onto the franchise in season 2 and lasting through the 12th season.

Kandi is also a singer and songwriter, and she wrote the TLC song "No Scrubs." She has also had a few spin-offs of her own, from The Kandi Factory to Kandi's Wedding.

Ramona Singer (12 Seasons)

Ramona Singer has been in all 12 seasons of The Real Housewives of New York and has showed her love of white wine, arguments, and not being able to let things go.

Fans have seen Ramona raise her daughter, divorce her cheating husband, and decorate her apartment. She has started dating, tried to live a new life, and gotten super drunk with Sonja on many occasions. Ramona is always entertaining but sometimes says really harsh things to the other cast members.

Tamra Judge (12 Seasons)

Tamra Judge

Although Tamra Judge isn't on the show anymore, her time on The Real Housewives Of Orange County can't be pushed aside as she appeared for 12 seasons. From getting married to Eddie, fighting with long-time best friends Gretchen and Vicki, and finding strength with her gym and faith, Tamra has been a huge part of the show.

She's feisty, hilarious, and always has a clever thing to say. There's going to be a glaring gap where she's supposed to be when RHOC returns.

Vicki Gunvalson (13 Seasons)

Vicki Gunvalson reunion

Vicki was in the first 13 seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County and appeared in season 14 as a "friend." Now she's gone and people have mixed feelings about that. But she is definitely the longest-running cast member as she has been on 13 seasons.

Some fans love Vicki and her desire to have a good time and "whoop it up." Others think that she talks too fast, says mean things, and should stop spreading rumors about people. Whatever one's opinion, it's clear that Vicki gets people talking, and that's the point.
