I love Stallone movies. Let´s go see Rambo 5, 6 and much more.

schwungsau says:

oh no…. please let it go….
let rambo go…. its was a nice end….

i don´t think sly will do another movie again……. he made his final point with “john rambo” and the last rocky flick…..

Rob says:

I’m all for it. I really enjoyed the last flick and would love to see more. Its nice to see some good ol’ fashion rated R action.

Eh, I’d rather they left the Rambo series alone. They did the old “delayed sequel” thing, it worked great, and they ended the movie very well with him coming home finally to be at peace.

If they’re smart they’ll just leave it right there, going out on a high note.

Sly fits the Rambo role so much better now with a little age behind him. The last installment was really an incredible surprise for me. I agree that they left it off right where they should have but a part of me would love to see the character return to the screen again. Either way works for me.

Mark says:

I’m fine with this as long as he doesn’t attempt another Rocky movie. Rocky Balboa had amazing emotional impact on me (and I’d given up on Rocky after 3,4, and 5). To try to make a sequel to a movie that tied it up perfectly would just ruin it. As far as Rambo, he’s just a guy that blows stuff up and hardly speaks. Even if Stallone had a stroke they could make these movies well into his 80s ;)

wes says:

I agree with Vic & Mark. The last one was very well made and served for a much better ending than 3. I just don’t want them to try too much and make it suck. I mean Stallone is like 70 years old. They have to be very careful to keep it believable. Regardless, if this was my favorite series, I would want them to keep pumping them out.

Niall says:

He looked good in the last one – and it wasn’t that long ago!

He could pull it off.

Remember the time when Hollywood wouldn’t hire Stallone?

How times have changed!

wes says:

You’re right. He did a great job of making Rambo more brutal. He stuck to the essence of what made the character work. Did he write or direct any of the others?

Niall says:

Stallone wrote or co-wrote all the films – including one with James Cameron and he directed the last one (4)

I knew Stallone would do another Rambo,,,

He’s held up a lot better than Arnold.
They won’t be digitally adding his face to Roland Kickenger… Lol

I would sure see a Rambo5 over RoboCop reboot or even Iron Man 2/3D/Imax…

The ending really (imo) opened up a great opportunity,,,
To have some conflict at home,,,
Maybe HLS will consider him a terrorist ???

Stan-Lee says:

@ 790
You called this one when Rambo was in theaters. i remember you saying then that they were going to start another one soon.

Personally I thought the franchise would be ending, even if they were planning another one I never expected it to go into production.

790 says:

Thanks Stan-Lee,,,
Unlike my source’s at paramount, I have good intel on the Slyster,,,
I would expect a controverisial storyline involving something big…
Should be great. 8-)

Gary says:

Lots of films end up on a studios production slate .
At best we know its a proposed project ,
A possible project .
News that it might happen doesnt mean it will .
I want to hear what Stallone has to say before I believe it.

Andy says:

This is good news!! I love a great action flick that shows no remorse for being what it is: a shoot-em up, blood-soaked action film. Rambo was all of these, yet had a good storyline as well. I welcome a 5th film, even if it’s HALF as good as the last one!!

Jae Senn says:

The thing I loved best about the latest Rambo movie is that it’s got the most realistic depiction of the ballistics effects of .50-cal rounds. Most other movies do not show .50-cal rounds cutting through people and stuff like that.

Heck, in Iron Man, that .50-cal didn’t even dent the Mk. 1 at it was a lowly rifle that broke the drive belt!

I hope the next Rambo film will be similarly brutal. A bit more Barrett M107 and other such cool weapons, please. And that titanium knife from previous Rambo movies too.

Louis says:

Why not another one?? The last one was amazing. Bring it on Sly, can’t wait to see it!

skyler says:

GO FOR IT!!! I do agree it was a good ending in his last movie but who knows rambo 5 could have a better ending to wrap the series up.

black jack says:
