Was going to say, I thought there were two, and one was called Escape.
No doubt Race has been put in to sound more dramatic.

Don’t remember much about the originals, but think I liked them. Somewhat.

Actually there are 2 movies. Escape to and Return from Witch Mountain. So I dont think this as much a remake as it is a sequel.
