How Well Do You Know The World Of Game Of Thrones?
The world created by George R. R. Martin in his A Song of Ice and Fire series is undoubtably one of the most in-depth fantasy worlds ever created. For decades, the prospect of faithfully adapting the magnum opus seemed undoable, until series creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss pitched the idea to HBO. Though plenty of material from the books has been left on the cutting room floor, Game of Thrones has proven to be just as ambitious of a story as its source material, and the show has gone on to become one of the most critically acclaimed TV series of all time.
Outside of its superb performances and cleverly written characters, one of the biggest draws to the story is no doubt the world itself. With so many different locations to keep track of, it’s no wonder that the opening credits for the show is a map that details each character’s current whereabouts. Some parts of the story literally take place thousands of miles apart, but with Daenerys Targeryen finally setting sail to reclaim the Seven Kingdoms we have a feeling that many of the characters will come face-to-face very soon.
But before season seven premiers, let’s see You Know The World Of Game Of Thrones.
