Would rather see Shrek 4 than this. I like the Puss in Boots character, but I really can’t see him supporting a whole film. Hopefully I am wrong and it is a funny, good movie.

A prequel that DOESN’T bring in a bunch of characters from the original franchise regardless of whether it makes sense or not?

I’ve never been a big Shrek fan, even less a Puss in Boots fan, but I’m ready to bet this might be the first time a prequel actually works (Star Trek’s alternate universe aside).
