Yeah with the sniffers they took his tooth brush so that they had his psychic “scent” to track with him.

all i all i liked this film. While slow in parts it had charm with Dakota Fanning with her short temper and shorter skirt (don’t worry im a teenager so it’s okay for me to perv )

if you really enjoy reading books your like this movie, it had a great plot just a needed a little more action. when i got down watching this movie i thought wow whens the last time you seen a movie were you didn’t predict the end so everyone i say if you like good plots then watch this. and the plot holes will probley be filled in the next movie

Maybe its just that the standard of action movies have been lowered so much these couple years with directors trying to create all their movies around a teenage mindset (which is a huge mistake, transformers 1 & 2 are jsut awfull) which is annoying, and im a teenager, but i found push enjoyable for an action movie in our day and age. It does have alot of flaws and you can lose interest at times, but its an ok movie and if you like action movies you’ll like it.

Excellent plot! I’d like to see more intriguing movies like this one. Original, action packed, and hinting on truth. I found ‘Knowing’ more riveting to my surprise. ‘Knowing’ I didn’t want to pause it to use the bathroom, it was that great. ‘Push’has some brief, slow moments where you could almost lose interest. It was better than 99% of the movies I’ve seen in the last several years.

Why so much hate for Push? It is a good movie that has combined several elements from other movies/tv shows etc. Most everything we watch is influenced by something else. Push was great, one of my top 3 movies that I have seen recently.

The odd feeling with Dakota Fanning’s role is because she acts more like the protagonist’s girlfriend or wife than a child. The Cassie character is the adult in the relationship compared to the childish way which both Nick and Kira acts.

I don’t know if the director intended to invoke a sense of “The Professional” which matched an older man with a young girl who teaches the guy new things.

But it definitely gave me the same feeling.

I saw it this past Monday (yeah, I’m a glotton for punishment). I would have given it an extra .5, making it a 2.5 out of 5 for me. The action scenes were pretty good but that’s about it. I wasn’t too turned off by the sniffers, but that’s probably because Vic warned us. My favorite power had to be the guy who could transmute matter.

I think this movie is such a rip-off from ‘Heroes’ and wants to go on with that success, even tho they got some ‘semi’ bigscreen actors, i still think this will be the greatest and first heroes-movie FAIL of the year…

Even if you’re right lily, Alex merely would have gotten lucky since he’s never even seen the film. He would have a “solid point” if he was speaking with actual knowledge of the film and Vic’s opinion on it.

I have to say that Alex has a solid point in saying that Vic shouldn’t overthink the movie. I have seen it and enjoyed it. It could have had more action, but I still liked it overall.

You were absolutely right with your review. I’d like to take it further and announce that this film SUCKS! Can we please stop comparing to Heroes which is one of my favorite shows? This movie is better compared to watching a silent film of a terd floating around a toilet bowl!! I want my 111 minutes back!! ARGH

I agree Vic. I too was expecting this one to be a good “guilty pleasure” film, I feel they had a chance to make something we’ve all seen before fresh, but wussed out went the route of what’s safe and makes them their money back.

On the upside Camilla Belle is effin’ hot and I didn’t have to pay to see this. Lol.

Seriously though, I’ve been watching Jumper on HBO over and over again. It’s better than I remembered. Def room in there for a much improved sequel.

Push… well there’s a way to do the ESPers as warriors concept and this just doesn’t seem like it’s the way to go about it. Hello Netflix!

LOLZ. It would seem easier to simply ignore Alex, but then it would rob everyone else of the reminder that this is a MOVIE REVIEW, not a MOVIE FORECAST (or something hehe).

Thanks for heads-up about the movie, Vic! I might watch it anyway (I’m stubborn that way), but at least I’m emotionally prepared about wasting my time and money before going to the movie house.
