Dammit! I love Johnny Depp. I already know the real life story of Dillenger so I know how he’s “finally brought to justice”. I’m going to spend the entire movie waiting for the end. Did they have to make Dillenger so cool. I hate when root for the villain.

That trailer’s a grabber. I don’t usually watch crime movies. I know we’re not talking Good Fellas or Casino here neither of which I can watch. Wait! I just grabbed a clue! I hate real life crime movies. Real life sucks. And it really sucks that this movie looks so good. Thanks a lot Vic!!

Since Collateral, Mann has been using Digital Cameras (instead of the traditional film camera) for his films. Which is why they have that clear look.

Great. I hope we can get a new trailer every month until July 1. I can’t wait for the movie Johnny has always been a favorite of mine. Just by seeing the trailers the acting looks awesome. I hope this will finally be the year Johnny gets an Oscar. I know he says his award is when someone comes up and says they loved him as Capt.Jack ,Edward Scissorhands etc. But we his fans think he deserves to win and we want to see it happen. The movie will be in the top 5 this summer. I hope. It is number one for me. Thanks for posting the trailer.

Ok, i’ve seen Channing Tatum’s name relatively high on the cast list on the imdb site for the movie and you decided to include his name when you mentioned 5 of the actors involved in the movie. But unless his role has him wearing a lot of makeup making him unnoticeable, I don’t think we’ve seen him at all in either of the first two trailers. I know he’s playing Pretty Boy Floyd according to imdb, does anyone know if his role is actually small or if it’s just coincidental that he hasn’t been included in the trailers? Cause I thought he was having a significant role in this film and I think it would be a great measure if his acting abilities as of late, seeing as he’ll be alongside Bale, Depp, and Crudup.

@ Xigbar, i would like to say that’s Michael Mann’s style of photography now. He used it extensively in Miami Vice and it seems he’s using it extensively in Public Enemies. Personally i kinda like the style, it’s gritty and real, really bring you into the action. This movie looks awesome, i’ll be there.

Is it just me or does the style of the photography remind anyone of an amature of student film?
It’s not a bad thing, but the camera movements and exposure have this kind of unpolished quality…

I liked the first trailer and I like this one too, I’ll definitely be going to see this movie within it’s first week or release.
