Last week, Screen Rant reported on the upcoming cinematic finale to the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which is being split into two movies. Director David Yates recently reported from the set of the film, and today we have some actual behind-the-scenes production pics to give Harry Potter fans a first look at that their favorite kid wizards about to embark on their final journey.

Just for the fun of it, I thought it would be nice to share a “from then til now” moment by taking a look back at a pic of Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, back when they were little prepubescent scamps running around the set of their very first Harry Potter film, The Sorcerer’s Stone (2001):

Yikes, what a difference a near decade makes. Emma Watson in particular has come a LONG way since her early days in the franchise…
Seriously though, one of great things about the Harry Potter films has been watching its young leads maturing in almost perfect synchronization with each film’s storylines. That said, it’s kind of bittersweet to watch them stepping out now, for what will likely be their last adventure together (sniffle). But the baby chicks have to fly the coop sometime…
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I is slated to hit theaters on November 19, 2010.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II is slated to hit theaters on July 15, 2011.

These pictures are useless….show us something interesting!….I think this is when they get break into the ministry of magic and alter their appearances to make them look like adults
they arent useless! its better than nothing…but would like to see more in action!!
I like what has been shown here; the 10 year transition shows a lot. Screen Rant has shown trailers of this movie on more than 1 occassion. Maybe you all could look at the trailer section for action sequences.

By the way..to the first comment…DUH! they are obviously not in the real set..they are outside.Do you think the paparatzi would be alloud to go into the set..and when they have there alter egos. HERMIONE IS BELLATRIX LESTRANGE! not herself DUHH!
for the truly passionate fan, there are a number of HP related websites that delve into the minutae of all of the films and the leads and pictures of everyone et al. I would reccomend the leaky cauldron as the best of the bunch. I appreciate the way that SR handles these films and the news about them as when something actually noteworthy happens, you can find mention of it here.
As a huge fan of the books, I will be sad when the door closes on the last Harry Potter adventure.
