Funny i didn’t know there was anything wrong with the show lol. V and Flashforward are the only two TV shows i actively watch. I’m either playing Call of Duty online, watching a netflix, i religiously watch flashforward and V on thursdays. I download V, i usually do flashforward on hulu. Otherwise i’m reading engadget and tech news. So yeah i’m totally stunned that you don’t like the show and that they’re postponing it. Some of the actors must be making movies for a few months.

I agree they need to pick up the pace on the show. I’m still not totally caught up (haven’t seen the last one) but I’ll say that after finding it pretty boring it did get a little more interesting last couple of episodes. One of the problems is that the show seems self-aware – like it’s posing/vouge-ing while it’s on… “Look at how cool and hip I am.”

I’m not saying the characters say that, it’s like the show itself is – I know that sounds weird.

The problem is that no one associated with the show had a flash forward and now they are busy trying to change the future to ensure they still have a job come April. This is an intriguing show but the truth is I want to know that it is finite. I will sign on for one season. I want to know what happens next Spring. I want to know why. I don’t know if I care enough to stick around until then and I certainly don’t want to sign up for an series. I am at the point where I prefer tightly written storylines that only last a season or two with a definite beginning, middle, and end. No filler.

It’s badly written, that’s what’s wrong with it lol I’ll still watch it, but mainly to laugh at how thin the plot is.

Random old Asian woman -”well funny you should ask me… cause I just so happened to have eaten at the very restaurant you are looking for!”

That’s basically every scene. lol

Let me get this straight:

There was a press release saying that FLASH FORWARD was going to take a break … for Thanksgiving and that they will be back working on Monday?

This is news? If so, let me announce now that I will too be taking a break for the holidays and won’t be back to work until Monday.

I like the show but it has become to slowly paced. I still think the show has a lot of potential and the episode 2 weeks ago (I haven’t yet watched last week’s episode) made for a good cliffhanger for the week. I still think ABC is shooting themselves in the foot with month or two long breaks because by January I might not care about the show any longer.

I was looking forward to this show butnow I have given up on it.
Like Msbaker said, its got to much of the “Lost” thing going on. I gave up on lost about the 10th episode and havn’t watched one since.

Gotta agree with Norveg. The first couple of episodes you felt you were moving along and starting to get an understanding of what’s going on along with the characters. Lately they’ve fallen flat for me by trying to delve into the personal stories and getting away from the mystery of why the black out occurred.

FlashForward is slow. So far there have been many episodes where they aren’t doing anything special other arguing about boring stuff. I don’t mind slow stuff, provided the writers know what they’re doing. What people want to see, is moving forward with the master plot. FF should have fewer episodes. 22 episodes are too much unless the writers know how to handle it. Look what happend to second season of T:SCC, most of the episodes sucked because they were doing nothing. Same with Lost, I’m a huge Lost fan, but I rank the second season lowest. But when Lost got shorter seasons, the pace and story became magnificent. FF should do the same.

You made a great point when you said your curiosity to know the end-game only goes so far. That was the very reason I stopped watching Lost. I loved the show, but started getting aggrevated instead of interested with all of the questions that began to quickly pile up. FlashForward could very well start doing this for me, too.
