I hated the end! I agree….the end of this show just sucked all the good out of the rest of the show for me. The entire time, I was waiting for the end when Michael, the leader and sole cause of bringing down this evil empire while also freeing his brother, could finally attain peace and happiness. Instead he dies! WTF kind of ending is that? Worst ending ever!

This is the best show I have ever seen. Season 4 was the weakest and I hated that MS died. I liked your review.

I’ve been trailing Prison Break since it started until it ends. And I say Season 1 is the best.
However, the ending of the last season really saddened me. It captures emotions. And I hate the ending. I just hate tragic endings. But I still give two thumbs up for Prison Break. I really like the show.

i am an 18 years old dude that have seen around 70% of all movies in the world and about 60% of all series in the world from weeds to game of thrones from o.c to 30 to rock and etc..I have to admit people that this series as a whole was a true masterpiece….the plot was very smart emotional sometimes funny and the actors were playing very good. I have to say the chemistry between michael and sara wasnt so good but at the end of the day the series was never about a love story but about loyalty honour and ethics if you think about it.

Absolutely loved the first three seasons! Great writing, but what breaks my heart is that they took a true masterpiece and shredded it to bits in the 4th season.:(. I felt they were streching with the pursuit of scylla. But then when they finally got it in hand, and Don Self turned ou to be a theif, i couldnt believe the story anymore, it was clear to me that the writers were dragging this out. I mean the guy knows what the company was capable of and he would have been a hero to turn them inً! On top of that, when the company knows Don has scylla, why didnt they make an offer to Don? Also, i dont know why Micheal has to be “ready” to meet his mom in person. The company “geniuses” should realize by now that there is no way micheal believes his mother is still alive at their word. Later she says after realizing her sons life is in danger, she says “if only they knew what scylla really is…” I MEAN COME ON MAKE AN APPEARANCE TO YOUR SON ALREADY! By now the company has taken nothing but pot shots at micheal while hes running, for instance, when Micheal and Sarah are at the convenience store, the company misses yet again taking a shot from a distance when he could clearly walk up to micheal and kill him, i mean why are they still all wearing suits? DUH jeans and a tshirt would gdt the job done. Also a very sloppy murder attempt on the general with the car explosion. U HAVE A GUN DUDE AND NOBODY IS THERE, JUST SHOOT HIM IN THE HEAD FOR GODS SAKE! Oh and lastly, right b4 that scene the general says to his cardholder “i mean micheal was able to break into your safe in your office and steal the data off the card”, cardholders reply ” hohoho, as i recall you were in the room with me.”. Ummmmmmmm, how the heck does HE know when the data was stolen!?!?!? Neither him nor the general were aware of the card beibg stolen until micheal was standing in front of the console containing scylla…. Massive hole in the story there and it was at this point that i wanted to break my laptop. Im convinced that there is a new set of writers on this season and none of them are anywhere near the caliber of writers on the first 3 seasons. Glad i read the spoilers cuz im not going to finish this series after that garbage. Tyanks fox for ruining another great storyline hoping to lock in a profit.

Shame that MS had to die, it would of been better if they all ended up on the beech with the generals money living it large after all the hard work. they should all get back together and make a new ending. THE LAST TWO EPISODES RE-DONE WITH A HAPPY ENDING. I think everyone would like to see that.

I just finished watching the entire show in one just one week. I can honestly say that it is the best show i have ever watched! It’s so well writen, and the characters are amazing! I cried so much when i watched the ending, but i still think it was good.. The perfect way to end the show. Although i think it was a little to much that sarah got arrested, and that michael had to break her out, but they managed to pull it off. I think i have even gotten a little depressed from watching the show. That’s how much i love it.

I thought it was sad but beautifully written. I mean Michael breaks into prison the save his brother. Everything Michael has done for 4 years was to protect or save his family and those he cares about. Why is it such a bad ending when Michael does what he does best: use his brilliant mind and sacrifice himself to free his wife and child.
Now I will say the previous episode distracted me from the Finale; knowing he was going to die was disappointing, until I watched the last 5-10 minutes of the finale.
Great show, great finale. One of the rare shows to bring a tear to my eye.
Brilliant and thanks for the great series, prison break Cast, Crew, & Writers

The series finale ruined the whole show for me! I can honestly say I will never watch it again. After everything everyone went through they should have given Michael and Sarah a happy ending like everyone else. They should of had Gretchen sacrafice herself for Michael and Sarah. Also they messed up on the years. They said at one point Michael was born in ’76 and then he died in ’05. That would only make him 29 maybe 30. At one point Linc said he had just turned 31. Other than the ending I loved the show!

I thought it was a clever ending for a character riddled with guilt. Michael realized that by freeing his brother, many lives were entangled in the process. There were countless collateral causalities as TBag and the Company mercilessly killed whomever stood in their way. This chain of reactions was initiated by Michael and he needs to take responsibility.

I see that the human sacrifices has brought down the Company and inhibited the use of Scylla, which resulted in a safer world for everyone. Michael’s son is given a clean slate to live out his father’s legacy.

I agree. The ending was horrible in so many ways. Michael dying the very way he saved his brother from to helping everyone and never getting any happiness himself. This ending sucked!! I agree re do the ending as an alternate ending and sell the dvds.

I watched the whole series within a weekend and i must admit i was a little pissed that they killed off Scofeild. His tombstone said he died at 31, so that means he probably never saw his son! I literally cried because i was so upset that he died I think it was a little unnessesary and cruel after everything mike did for everyone else he never even got to be free with Sara.

i was about 9 during PB’s first season. i walked in the living room once at my dad’s like “Daddy what are you watching?” course, he was already like 6 episodes in & I had lots of questions but he said just keep watching, & I did! my mom also watched it at our house(seperate homes)I always thought it was a good show but never fully understood it as a kid, also missed some episodes because i always had to go to bed when it came on.so I missed just about the all of season 4. an adult that’s super close to me told me that Michael died(didn’t say how). one day, i found that my dad had every season. a few weeks in the summer I was bored & guess what I did all day everyday. this was in the summer of 10′ & I guess you could say I became insanely obsessed & deprived of PB. my mom doesn’t support my addiction because she thinks last 2 seasons are dumb & low class.i have never once in my life cried during a movie or show but wow it hit me when Michael died, I’ll admit I teared up, HE’S GORGEOUS. his character was amazing.i was very disappointed w/ the way my show ended. does anyone know if anything more happened after “The Final Break”? the enternet is giving me diff answers! i’m turning 14 really soon hopeing to get season 5 for my bday. PRISON BREAK IS ABSOLOUTLY MY FAVORITE SHOW EVER<3..can anyone help me?RIP MICHAEL:'(

Wasn’t the whole fear of Michael’s illness based on the fact that his mother had died from it? Well, obviously she didn’t! And didn’t the Company cure him anyway? What happened?

i have watched all four seasons and the final break episodes over the course of the last 2 weeks or so and finished watching the final episode late last night.

all i can say is that i enjoyed all seasons and i think the writers did very well in keeping the story going as they did.

i would also congratulate them on the ending as it was original and very emotional and has left quite an impression on me and left me gut wrenched. even now i feel the emotion and am still thinking about those final scenes and micheal’s last words on video to sara and linc.

im gona miss the characters and the show and can never remember feeling this emotional and moved at the ending of a film or tv show, let alone comment about it on the internet.

It sucked so much that micheal dies I cryied it made no sense he should have been with Sara when the baby was born and die a happy life even with a tumor!! And GO PRIZON BREAK AND WENWORTH MILLER AND SARAH WAYNE CALLIES AND DOMNIC PURECELL!!!
