30 Rock won for “Outstanding Comedy Series” and it’s well deserved. Great show. Everyone knew Family Guy wasn’t going to win. No surprise there.

Final award of the night….

Mad Men won for “Outstanding Drama Series.” I really need to sit down and watch this series.

Overall, it was a great show and felt that all the winners were deserving. It didn’t feel like the Emmy’s; It felt bigger, better… more important. I’d say it felt like the Oscars, but it didn’t. It felt better than that.

I have a feeling that everyone is going to use this years Emmy’s as a bench mark for award shows. I wouldn’t be surprised if you see NPH (Last time. I promise) tapped for the Oscars. If not, he’ll hopefully be back for next year’s Emmy’s.

Enough of me. Let’s hear your thoughts. How did you feel about this years Emmy’s? Am I being a Doogie Howser fanboy? Was he good/bad? Are you happy with everyone who won?
