Three International ‘Predators’ Posters

Dollars to doughnuts the upcoming Predators reboot is on your 2010 most anticipated list. The film, from producer Robert Rodriguez (Sin City), pits a group of unlucky humans – including Adrien Brody, Laurence Fishburne and Danny Trejo – against the deadly titular creatures on another planet.

There was a time when I didn’t think a new Predator movie of this sort would ever get made, but I was pleasantly surprised when a reboot became a reality – particularly when folks like Rodriguez, Brody and Fishburne became involved. This thing is fast on its way, landing right in the middle of the summer 2010 movie season.

We’ve steadily seen various trailers, posters, images and featurettes released to get us stoked for Predators, but today we have some more in the form of three new international posters. Check them out below:

What I’m hoping for from this Predators reboot is a return to what made the original Predator so awesome. That means focusing on the exciting and heart-pounding survival (or at least attempts at survival) of this diverse group of people, all the while showcasing what the deadly Predators can do. I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that it looks like they’ve accomplished that (and lots more!).

Which of those three posters is your favorite? Personally I prefer the top one, as it bathes everything in the red light of the Predators’ laser sights.

Predators opens in theaters on July 9th, 2010.

  1. i really like the first and second posters…they should have done something more different with the third

    • I agree, the elements of the third poster don’t mesh together well. The humans look like they were added on via Photoshop a bit as a result. The red lighting of the first poster helps them to blend in against the backdrop of the Predator better.

  2. The second poster reminds of one of the Terminator Salvation posters. You know, the one where Bale’s got his head in between a robot vice-grip thing.

  3. my favorite is the second one. just looks awesome
