Here’s some potentially good news. According to E! Online, Will Ferrell has signed up to play Rick Marshall in a film version of Land of the Lost. For those who aren’t familiar with the Sid and Marty Krofft creation, Rick Marshall and his two children are on a rafting trip when they are somehow transported to another world. They have to deal with dinosaurs, Sleestaks, Chaka and, of course, each other. It was a very silly, very low-budget show that didn’t take itself too seriously, which is why I think casting Will Ferrell in it would be a great idea. Hopefully the writers and producers will try to stay at least somewhat true to the original story instead of going off on a tangent, like the Bewitched crew did.

Tried to post in the new star trek post, but it was closed for comments? what?
anyway- Star trek
Hey, guess what? the real charecter never existed anyomre…
why? they say ohh, alternative timeline, they live on, it all happend. but no, it did not.
-see, in first contact, tng goes back in time, where history was not as in the books, they must make Zefram Cochrane want to to warp and help him. if they never went back, history would not have happend. The new star trek movie say- if they had not followed the Borg back in time, they would not dissapear and earth filled with Borg, that would be an alternatime timeline, and they would be fine.
But they did go back and it made history they was it was supossed to be. – In most timetravelling storys they go back to the time they came from, and everything is good and back to normal.
-Spoilers from New star trek movie—-
-why did the Enterprise go into the worm hole and end up in the future to fix things there, or end up somewhere they could stop the kelvin from being destroyed?
-The new star trek is grat, love it. Cant wait for the special editoin: NOW LENS FLARE free! its going to be a bif seller.
-Its sad that, all star trek that has been before never happend, it is like the movie butterfly effect.
